Kitty has over twenty years’ experience in mergers, acquisitions, divestments and management consulting in China and Australia. Prior to joining Origin, Kitty worked at Occient International Limited, advising international clients on China-related mergers & acquisitions and business development strategies, and REL Consultancy Group, advising on working capital management.


Kitty joined Origin in 2007 and has been involved in transactions covering a range of industries: consumer products, healthcare, agribusiness, education, retail, mining and resources. She also specialises in China related transactions including raising capital from Chinese investors and assisting Chinese companies in identifying and pursuing M&A opportunities.


Kitty’s experience has included advising:

  • Blackmores on the divestment of Global Therapeutics to McPherson's;

  • Apex Laboratories on its sale to Dechra Pharmaecuticals;

  • Reckitt Benckiser on the divestment of a portfolio of healthcare and household brands, including Ostelin;

  • Pental on the acquisition of a portfolio of household brands, including White King, from Sara Lee;

  • Gardner Smith on the acquisition of Integro Foods from Goodman Fielder; and

  • a number of Chinese listed and private companies on the potential acquisitions in the beef, dairy, sugar and agrichemical sectors.
