Dhilee Rajeswaran

Dhilee has over 10 years’ experience in investment banking and advised many local and international companies in concluding mergers & acquisitions, project financing, IPOs, debt syndications and private equity transactions across diverse sectors.

Prior to joining Origin, Dhilee worked with NDB Investment Bank (NDBIB), Sri Lanka as the manager of corporate advisory division.  He was involved in diverse investment banking transactions including M&As and IPOs covering due diligence, valuations, regulatory approvals, negotiations and placements.


Dhilee’s experience includes:

  • debt advisor/analyst for mining and resource sector companies and structured capital (debt/equity) raisings from AUD 100 to 400 million;

  • sell side analyst for mining, TMT, agri and FMCG companies worth AUD 60 million, 50 million, 25 million and 10 million;

  • modelled integrated financial modelsfor infrastructure asset acquisitions (power and energy, storage and handling, toll roads, transport, etc) to provide realistic view of sustainable commercial outcomes;

  • modelled structured debt products that includes senior, mezzanine, streaming advance and off taker financing to advise clients on optimal funding solutions; and

  • designed project finance models to test drawdowns, sources and uses of funds and debt sculpting profiles, and introduced cash waterfalls, debt sweeps, ISCR, DSCR, LLCR and PLCR to assess debt serviceability.


Dhilee’s clients have included:  Smart freight, Australian Potash, Mobility ADO, Bengal Coal, Andromeda Metals, Stuart Alexander, Hemas Holdings, LTL Holdings, CIC Holdings, Northern Central Hospital, Jinadasa Group, Resus Energy, Alumex and Access Engineering.


Dhilee holds CFA, CPA (Australia), ACMA (UK) and B.Sc Engineering (Hons) first class from University of Moratuwa (Sri Lanka).
