Tony has over 17 years experience in commercial and investment banking – focusing on project/transportation finance. Tony’s principal skills include originating and executing advisory assignments, originating and underwriting of debt lead arranger roles, structuring of debt product and equity packages, management and execution of credit and documentation processes, the co-ordination of advisors and consultants, overseeing and undertaking the financial modelling process and co-ordination of internal resources, including management of liaison with offshore/head offices. These skills have been employed both as team leader and as a team participant. Assignments conducted whilst at Origin include Queensland Rail and divestment of GrainCorp’s interest in ABA.
Prior to joining Origin, Tony was Director of Structured and Infrastructure Finance at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein where he focussed on the marketing and origination of lead arranging/underwriting and advisory services to the transport and infrastructure sectors, in addition to management of a diverse portfolio of existing project finance assets. Prior to Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Tony was employed at Babcock & Brown where he specialised in rail infrastructure advisory assignments. Babcock & Brown acquired AIDC Limited at which time Tony was employed as Director, Project Finance. Prior to AIDC, Tony was at Westpac for seven years where he was predominantly involved in a range of property and project financings.
