| Robert has
over 20 years' investment banking experience covering
areas of investment management and strategic corporate
advice. He also has extensive operational and management
experience in both the financial services and mining
industries.
Robert is a founding director of the Origin Capital
group of companies. Since its inception in 1998,
Robert has held the position of Managing Director of
the Origin Private Equity Fund. Robert's other
responsibilities include the provision of strategic
advice in areas of mergers, acquisitions, debt and
equity raisings for the Origin Securities business.
Prior to founding Origin, Robert was the Divisional
Director, Project Finance and Head of Corporate Finance
for AIDC. The key business activities of the
group included advisory, debt and equity arrangement,
project and corporate lending. Robert
was also responsible for the review of AIDC acquisition
opportunities and the establishment of two new AIDC
business ventures. Robert was also a Risk Committee
member.
Prior to entering the investment banking industry, Robert
gained extensive operational and management experience
in the mining industry while employed by BHP and Rio
Group companies (Kembla Coal and Coke and Hamersley Iron).
